Manning Trailhead

Manning Trailhead

Welcome to the Manning Trailhead for the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, Oregon's first ever rail-to-rail project. This trailhead was recently rebuilt by Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to provide better access for cyclists, hikers, and runners, connecting the historic communities of Manning, Banks, and Vernonia.

The towns of Banks and Vernonia have plenty to offer cyclists, with cafes, brew pubs, restrooms and bike fix-it stations, making this one of the best rides in the state.

While exploring the region, look for the "Tualatin Valley Bike Hub" signs, to help you navigate the region and experience the scenic, natural and cultural highlights of the valley. The Bike Hubs where created in partnership with the Washington County Visitors Association, local communities and land managers.
