The city is located 25 miles west of Portland and 37 miles west of Portland International Airport (PDX), at the confluence of Oregon routes 8 and 47. It is easily accessed via Oregon Highway 26, which is a direct connection to Tillamook State Forest, Oregon’s largest state forest (12 miles west), the coast (62 miles west), Portland, and the Mount Hood National Recreation Area (94 miles east).
Yes. Within Forest Grove, the GroveLink bus system serves most of the city, including downtown, and links riders to Portland metropolitan area transit, specifically TriMet bus route 57. The TriMet route connects Forest Grove, Hillsboro and Beaverton, where riders can transfer to many other bus routes or hop on TriMet’s light rail (MAX), which runs from Hillsboro to Portland and beyond (PDX, Gresham).

Pets that are leashed and well controlled are welcome to most outdoor events, unless the venue is specifically posted to exclude them. Indoor events are generally not appropriate for animals other than service animals, unless expressly authorized by the owner/organizer. The exception is Canines Uncorked; all friendly pups welcome!
