Located near the confluence of Gales Creek and the Tualatin River and just minutes from downtown Forest Grove, Fernhill is a great place to see the connections between water, plants, birds and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy the 1-mile loop around Fernhill Lake and the healing Water Garden. In addition to migratory birds, such as shore birds and waterfowl, the site attracts herons, hawks and beavers.
The parking lot, trails, picnic, shelter and restrooms are open to the public from dawn to dusk. Fernhill also contains a bike hub consisting of maps and amenities.
