Seeking Future Washington County Teachers

Event Description

Feb 9th - Feb 10th

Washington County Future Teachers Pathway is designed to grow our own anti-biased and anti-racist educators in the county. Recognizing the history of oppression and racism in Oregon, we are collaborating to fill a critical shortage of linguistically and/or culturally diverse teachers.

The pathways includes individualized mentoring, transcript review, help obtaining a GED, help gaining English language skills, and onboarding support with Washington County school districts, Portland Community Colleges, and four-year colleges, including Pacific University.

Join us at an upcoming informational session to hear more. All educational backgrounds are welcome. Sessions will be held:

Tuesday, Feb. 9 | 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | https://pacificu.zoom.us/j/99841152161
Wednesday, Feb. 10 | 10 a.m. to noon | https://pacificu.zoom.us/j/97484044749

Pre-registration encouraged but not required.
